Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 - KUIDAS CAMP, HUAB RIVER VALLEY
The tour begins in Windhoek airport at 10h00, before taking a flight to the Skeleton Coast via Conception Bay. Look out for the Kuiseb Canyon and red dunes plus an aerial view of the famous Eduard Bohlen shipwreck at Conception Bay. After landing and refuelling at Swakopmund, you enjoy a low-level flight north along the Skeleton Coast past the seal colony at Cape Cross for a light picnic lunch near the beach. After this we fly over the desert to the Ugab formations, and then proceed to Kuidas Camp in the Huab River Valley where you will overnight. (L,D)

Day 2 - PURROS CAMP, HOARUSIB VALLEY
After breakfast you will take a 4x4 drive to explore the Huab River area with its wide diversity of flora and fauna, including the rare Welwitschia Mirabilis. Lunch is enjoyed camp before flying along the coast to Terrace Bay in the Skeleton Coast Park. Shipwrecks along this part of the coast include the Montrose and Henrietta. Activities include dune tours and a beach visit, after which you fly to Purros Camp in the Hoarusib Valley in the Kunene Region, where you stay for the night. (B,L,D)

Day 3 - KUNENE RIVER CAMP, KUNENE
A delicious breakfast is enjoyed, followed by a scenic drive along the Hoarusib Valley to visit Himba village. Look out for desert elephants along the way! From here you fly over to the Skeleton Coast to the Kunene River. You’ll be able to spot the Kaiu Maru shipwreck and other pieces from old sailing vessels along the coastline. After landing a scenic drive will be taken to a fantastic lunch spot, and then you will drive through the Hartmann Valley to Kunene River Camp where you will enjoy dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)

Day 4 - WINDHOEK
On your final day of the tour you will enjoy an early morning boat trip on the Kunene Rive, spotting bird life and a few crocodiles. After returning for lunch at the camp, you will fly back to Windhoek in the afternoon, ending your tour. (B, L)
