Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1 - PENSION ONGANGA, WINDHOEK
You will arrive at the airport to collect your car, before continuing on to the town of Windhoek. You can enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 2 - HARDAP RECREATIONAL RESORT, HARDAP
After breakfast, depart south to the Hardap Recreational Resort, the location of Namibia’s largest man-made lake. This area is home to abundant game and birdlife. You will camp here tonight. (B)

DAY 3 - CAÑON ROADHOUSE, FISH RIVER CANYON
You will drive through to Fish River Canyon, admiring the views along the way - including the Quiver Tree Forest. You will arrive at camp, and camp here overnight.

DAY 4 & 5 - ORANGE RIVER LODGE, ORANGE RIVER
After visiting the Fish River Canyon, you will travel to the Orange River, where you will be camping for the next two days. Optional activities include canoeing and scenic walks.

DAY 6 & 7 - KLEIN AUS VISTA, AUS
You will then move north into the deserts of Aus, where you will stay for the next two days at a campsite. You can visit nearby areas such as Luderitz and Kolmanskop ghost town or simply relax over these two days.

DAY 8 - TSAUCHAB RIVER CAMP, NAUKLUFT MOUNTAINS
This morning you will travel into the Namib Desert, reaching camp in the afternoon to relax for the rest of the day before setting up camp for the night.

DAY 9 & 10 - SESRIEM CAMPSITE, SOSSUSVLEI
On these days you will have the chance to visit the stunning dunes at Sossusvlei, plus attractions such as Dead Vlei and Sesriem Canyon. You will camp overnight on both these nights.

DAY 11 & 12 - PENSION RAPMUND, SWAKOPMUND
After breakfast you will depart for Swakopmund, which is situated between the desert and the ocean, and offers a host of activities including adventure sports. You will stay at a pension during these two days. (B)

DAY 13 - ABA HUAB CAMPSITE, DAMARALAND
Today you will travel into Damaraland, where you will see desert game such as rhino and elephant. You will visit attractions such as Burnt Mountain and the Organ Pipes - geological wonders of note. You can then set up camp at the next campsite and relax for the rest of the day. (B)

DAY 14 - KHOWARIB SCHLUCHT, KAOKOVELD
This morning after a trip to the rock art at Twyfelfontein you will continue north to Koakoland, home to the Himba people. You will camp overnight along a dry riverbed.

DAY 15 & 16 - EPUPA COMMUNITY CAMPSITE, EPUPA FALLS
The next two days will be spent enjoying the beautiful Epupa Falls. You can relax or enjoy activities within the area over these days, and you will camp overnight at the community campsite.

DAY 17 - RUACANA CAMPSITE, KUNENE
Today you will continue on to the Kunene area, to visit Ruacana Falls and enjoy a day in this beautiful lush area. You will camp overnight tonight.

DAY 18 - RUSTIG TOKO LODGE, DAMARALAND
This day begins with a drive into the eastern part of Damaraland, where you can chose from a range of activities including nature drives, game drives or Himba settlement visits. You will camp overnight here today.

DAY 19 & 20 - ETOSHA CAMP, ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
After making your way to Etosha National Park, you can spend the next two days enjoying the excellent game viewing opportunities and views. You will camp overnight on both these nights.

DAY 21 - WATERBERG RESORT, WATERBERG PLATEAU
After breakfast travel south to Lake Otjikoto, one of only two natural lakes found in Namibia. You will continue onwards to reach Waterberg Plateua, which offers spectacular views. This is where you will camp overnight, enjoying the afternoon to relax.

DAY 22 - PENSION ONGANGA, WINDHOEK
Today you will make your way back to Windhoek, where you can spend the day exploring the city and all its wonders before heading to your pension for the night.

DAY 23 - WINDHOEK
On the final day of the tour you will have breakfast, and you will then head to the airport for your flight home. (B)
