Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1 - CASA PICOLO, WINDHOEK
After your arrival at the International airport, you will be met and welcomed, before you are given a detailed briefing for your African adventure. After having collected your vehicle, travel to Windhoek where you will enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.

DAY 2 - BAGATELLE GAME LODGE, KALAHARI DESERT
After breakfast you will travel south into the Kalahari Desert, where a range of wildlife species such as zebra, springbok, ostrich and bat-eared foxes can be seen. Besides tame oryx and springbok, you will also be able to witness a cheetah feed at the game lodge.(B,D)

DAY 3 - BAGATELLE GAME LODGE, KALAHARI DESERT
Enjoy the day at leisure, take a nature walk and watch game at the nearby waterhole. There is a swimming pool at the lodge to cool down and stay refreshed on these hot days. (B,D)

DAY 4 & 5 - CAÑON LODGE, FISH RIVER CANYON
Today you will drive to the beautiful Fish River Canyon area, where a host of activities and highlights can be enjoyed. Spend the days exploring the area, or relax at your lodge. (B)

DAY 6 - SINCLAIR GUEST FARM, TIRAS MOUNTAIN CONSERVANCY
After breakfast you can visit the Fish River Canyon, the second largest canyon on earth, before travelling west to the edge of the Namib Desert. Here is where you will find your lodge. You can relax with a sundowner, while the kids play outside or visit the farm animals at the guest farm. (B,D)

DAY 7 - HAMMERSTEIN LODGE, SOSSUSVLEI
Today you will travel to the Sossusvlei area, via the Duwisib Castle. Other highlights include the AfriCat project where large cats including cheetah and leopard can be seen, plus nature walks and Bushman walks. (B)

DAY 8 - HAMMERSTEIN LODGE, SOSSUSVLEI
A sunrise visit to the dunes of Sossusvlei is how today will begin, and you can relax and enjoy the breathtaking views, while the children have fun climbing the dunes. (B)

DAY 9 & 10 - PENSION RAPMUND, SWAKOPMUND
Today you will either end your tour or drive back to Windhoek, or you will continue to Swakopmund for the northern tour. Your journey to Swakopmund takes you along the Skeleton Coast, and once in town you have the next two days to enjoy a host of fun adventure sports and activities, marine cruises or relaxation. (B)

DAY 11 - BRANDBERG WHITE LADY LODGE, DAMARALAND
Your drive will continue towards Damaraland, stopping at the Cape Cross seal colony to see the thousands of seals that live here. You will also pass the famous geological wonders such as Burnt Mountain before arriving at your lodge for the night. (B,D)

DAY 12 - GELBINGEN GUEST FARM, DAMARALAND
After breakfast, you will drive to Twyfelfontein, a World Heritage Site featuring thousands of ancient rock engravings. This offers a highly educational experience for children. Other highlights include a Himba village visit and play park within the farm grounds. (B,D)

DAY 13 - NWR CAMP, ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Today you will drive to the Etosha National Park, to your lodge that is situated close to the park with a flood-lit waterhole offering excellent game viewing. Game drives are also included in the line up today. (B)

DAY 14 - MUSHARA BUSH CAMP, ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast today you will drive to your next accommodation, a child-friendly camp very close to the park. The day is spent having fun, relaxing and enjoying game activities. (B,D)

DAY 15 - MUSHARA BUSH CAMP, ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Today is spent making animal cookies, getting faces painted and having fun, plus you will enjoy a thrilling game drive through the park to view the host of wildlife in this area including lion, elephant and more. Later you can return to camp to relax, while the kids are entertained by the camp babysitters. (B,D)

DAY 16 - KAMBAKU LODGE, OTJIWARONGO
After breakfast, you will drive south to your next lodge in a key farming area. Activities today include horse trails, volleyball, nature drives and walks. The lodge also has a large garden with a pool. (B,D)

DAY 17 - KAMBAKU LODGE, OTJIWARONGO
Today is spent at leisure. You could visit some of the nearby attractions, including a crocodile farm in Otjiwarongo or the Cheetah Conservation Fund, which offers educational programs for children. (B,D)

DAY 18 - WINDHOEK
On your final day, you will enjoy a delicious breakfast, before setting off for Windhoek via Okahandja to visit the markets. (B)
