Day 1 - AGAMA RIVER CAMP Your adventure kicks off at 8:30am in Windhoek. You will arrive at Agama River camp just in time for lunch, after which you can enjoy some free time to swim or relax around the camp. Later in the afternoon, you can enjoy a short sunset walk or sundowner drive. After a delicious meal around the campfire, you will stay here overnight. (L,D)
Day 2 - AGAMA RIVER CAMP This morning you will leave camp before dawn to drive to Sossusvlei to watch the sunrise from the dunes of this amazing area. You can also explore the Dead Vlei, a striking landmark offering breathtaking views and photo opportunities. After a heart mid-morning brunch and a chance to explore the dunes, you will return to camp to relax. In the afternoon you can explore the nearby Sesriem Canyon on foot. Sundowners, a delicious dinner and then it’s time to go to sleep under the stars. (B,L,D) Day 3 - VILLA WIESE GUESTHOUSE, SWAKOPMUND You will leave early this morning via the small town of Solitaire, before heading through the desert to Walvis Bay. Highlights include a visit to the lagoon, which is a protected RAMSAR wetland site. Birding is excellent, with sightings of Greater and Lesser Flamingos, pelicans, avocets, plovers and the endemic Damara Tern. After lunch, you will continue to Swakopmund. Here you can choose optional adventure activities such as sand boarding, quad biking, scenic flights, parachuting, dolphin cruises and more for this afternoon and tomorrow morning. After this you will visit a restaurant for dinner at your own expense, and then overnight at a comfortable accommodation with en-suite bathrooms and excellent facilities. (B,L)
Day 4 - SPITZKOPPE After breakfast, you can choose from a range of attractions to visit, including the museum, the aquarium or the town, or you can enjoy optional activities such as sand boarding and quad biking. After a delicious lunch it’s time to set off for Spitzkoppe, arriving late afternoon to set up camp. Enjoy a late afternoon climb to the natural rock arch and enjoy the views of the desert or explore the desert floor with its amazing rock formations. Dinner is enjoyed at camp, after which you can star gaze. You will retire for the night in this overnight bush camp. (B,L,D) Day 5 - PALMWAG This morning you will visit Spitzkoppe after breakfast, and then visit the World Heritage site of Twyfelfontein – home to rock art and engravings. After lunch you will see some of the sights of Damaraland before arriving late afternoon at our camp to relax. After dinner, you will stay overnight with the option to upgrade depending on availability. (B,L,D)
Day 6 - PALMWAG After breakfast this morning you can either join the optional activities such as the Himba Excursion, Rhino Tracking or Damaraland Wildlife Excursion. Those staying at camp today can relax or take a guided walk. A dinner around the campfire can then be enjoyed. You will have the option to upgrade accommodation depending on availability. (B,L,D) Day 7 - OKAUKEUJO, ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK This morning you can enjoy your first game drive Etosha National Park, after stopping for supplies in Okaukeujo. Lunch will be enjoyed at Anderson gate and after this you will continue to your camp site at Okaukuejo. Relax a bit, and then experience a thrilling afternoon game drive to see elephants, giraffes, lion, zebra, springbok and other game. Enjoy a scrumptious dinner, followed by night viewing at the flood lit waterhole before retiring for the night. You will have the option to upgrade, depending on availability. (B,L,D)
Day 8 - NAMUTONI, ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK The morning kicks off at sunrise for a full morning game drive. Around mid-morning you will arrive at Halali, where you can enjoy lunch and relax. This is followed by a game drive around Halali and a visit to the famous Etosha Pan. You then head to Namutoni camp in time for dinner, and some nigh viewing at the flood lit waterhole. You have the option to upgrade, depending on availability. (B,L,D) Day 9 - WATERBERG PLATEAU After an early morning game drive you will leave Etosha, via Tsumeb to get supplies. A stop at Hoba Meteorite, the largest meteorite in the world, will be your venue for lunch. In the afternoon you will arrive at Waterberg Resort, where you can enjoy views and game including eland, ostrich, springbok, kudu and impala. Enjoy a delicious dinner before retiring for the night. ( B,L,D) Day 10 - WINDHOEK After breakfast, you will have a short guided walk before heading back to Windhoek. A quick brunch and a visit to the Okahandja Craft Markets for curio shopping, and then it is back to town to enjoy a sundowner – ending the tour. (B,L)
