Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 - KUIDAS CAMP, HUAB RIVER VALLEY
This tour kicks off at Windhoek airport at 07h00 for an early morning flight to Sossusvlei in the Namib Naukluft Park. Sossusvlei is famous for having the highest dunes in the world, and these dunes are absolutely breathtaking to behold. After landing at Sesriem you can enjoy a 4x4 drive into the dunes. Those that feel fit and willing enough to attempt a climb can test their wits against these massive dunes. After this, you will fly along the coast via Conception Bay towards Swakopmund, enjoying views of the famous Eduard Bohlen shipwreck at Conception Bay. After landing and refuelling at Swakopmund, it’s time for a low-level flight north along the Skeleton Coast past the seal colony at Cape Cross to enjoy a picnic lunch on the beach. After lunch you fly over the desert, to the Ugab formations and nearby rock paintings before landing at Kuidas Camp in the Huab River Valley, where you will camp overnight. (L,D)

Day 2 - PURROS CAMP, HOARUSIB VALLEY
After a delicious breakfast it’s time for a 4x4 drive across the Huab River area to see the wide range of plants and wildlife. You will return to camp for lunch before flying to Terrace Bay in the Skeleton Coast Park. Look out for shipwrecks along this part of the coast including the Montrose and Henrietta. You can then enjoy dune tours and a beach visit before you fly to Purros Camp in the Hoarusib Valley in the Kunene Region, where you stay for the night. (B,L,D)

Day 3 - KUNENE RIVER CAMP, KUNENE
This morning you will have breakfast, and then a scenic drive along the Hoarusib Valley to visit a Himba village. From here you will fly over to the Skeleton Coast to the Kunene River. Look out for the Kaiu Maru shipwreck and other pieces from old sailing vessels along the coastline. On landing, you can enjoya scenic drive to a great lunch spot, and then you will drive through the Hartmann Valley to Kunene River Camp where you will have dinner and stay overnight. (B,L,D)

Day 4 - WINDHOEK
On this final day of your tour you can enjoy an early morning boat trip on the Kunene River after breakfast, spotting bird life and a few crocodiles. After lunch at camp, you will fly back to Windhoek in the afternoon, where the tour comes to an end. (B, L)
