Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 - NAMIB NAUKLUFT LODGE, SOSSUSVLEI
The tour begins in Windhoek, where you will depart to begin your journey into the Nambib desert. You will arrive at your lodge late in the afternoon. (D)

Day 2 - NAMIB NAUKLUFT LODGE, SOSSUSVLEI
This morning after breakfast, you will venture into the heart of the Namib Desert to explore the amazing dunes at Sossusvlei. You will spend the morning exploring the dunes as well as the surreal landscapes of Dead Vlei on foot. After a picnic lunch under the Camelthorn trees, you will visit Sesriem canyon, before returning to the lodge to overnight. (B,L,D)

Day 3 - SWAKOPMUND HOTEL, SWAKOPMUND
Today you will travel through the Namib Naukluft Park to Swakopmund. Highlights include visits to the Ghaub and Kuiseb Canyons, plus a choice of fun activities and adventure sports on offer. (B)

Day 4 - SWAKOPMUND HOTEL, SWAKOPMUND
This day is spent at leisure, exploring the town of Swakopmund, visiting the beach, enjoying adventure activities and relaxing. In the evening, you will visit one of the excellent restaurants in town to enjoy dinner (at your own cost) before heading to your hotel to overnight. (B)

Day 5 - WINDHOEK
On the final day of the tour you will travel back to Windhoek by shuttle or you can take the Desert Express to return to Windhoek (runs in the early afternoon on Saturdays, only on request).
