The township tour offers a chance to experience the cultures of Mondesa, a large township in the heart of Swakopmund. You will be collected from your accommodation in Swakopmund, to be taken to Mondesa township. Tours run from 11:00-15:00 and 15:00 – 19:00.A host of things can be enjoyed during your tour, including singing children, a chance to meet people of different cultures, tasting traditional food and drinks. You will also visit an informal bar (known as a shabeen) or learn about traditional natural herbal medicine that is still used today. After your tour of this colourful and fascinating township, you will be returned to your accommodation.
