This day tour begins at 09:00 at Swakopmund airport, where you will meet your instructor for a full briefing and safety check. You will be given instructions on all procedures to follow, so that you are fully briefed and ready for action.
Part 1 – FLIGHT TO JUMP POINT
You will then enjoy a 35 minute scenic flight over the area before you get to the jump point, which is at about 10,000 feet. Once the plane gets to this level, you will prepare to jump.
Part 2 – THE JUMP
You will jump out of the plane, and a thrilling 30–35second free fall at 220km/h will follow, before your parachute opens. Once your chute has opened, you can enjoy another 5–8 minutes before gently descending to a tiptoe landing outside the clubhouse.
