The town of Swakopmund has an intense German history which is particularly evident in its attractive architecture. A leisurely stroll around the town close to Brigadoon Guesthouse will reveal many fascinating and characteristic buildings, as well as all the usual amenities of an international city. Near to Brigadoon you will also find the iconic Lighthouse Restaurant, the Museum and Crystal Gallery. Southwards along the shore you can try the famous Tug Restaurant or, further on, visit the fascinating National Marine Aquarium.
Brigadoon Guesthouse prides itself on being “Swakopmund’s Best Boutique B&B”, and rightfully so; they were the first B&B in Swakopmund to be registered with the Namibian Tourist Board in 1996 and since then have built up an enviable reputation for comfort and hospitality, mainly due to their impressive standard of service and ideal location close to the beach and at the heart of Swakopmund. They have also recently re-furbished all the guest rooms and landscaped the garden to improve (still further) the ambience of the lodge.
The accommodation at the lodge includes spacious, well-equipped rooms to accommodate two people, or families stylishly and comfortably allowing an opportunity for total relaxation, away from the hustle and bustle of Namibia's most vibrant town. Each room overlooks the lush garden from its own private patio deck where guests always appreciate Brigadoon’s delightful tradition of serving their guests individual breakfast. Situated close to the centre of Swakopmund all the usual facilities and amenities of an international city are close
at hand, including banks, post office, hospitals, foreign exchange, eating places, major shops and places of interest. Brigadoon Guesthouse is happy to arrange activities as well as airport transfers for guests, if required.

From the east, Windhoek
When the B2 reaches Swakopmund drive straight on until you see
can take the C34 signposted right towards Henties Bay, then take
the second left turn into Theo-Ben Gurirab Ave. Go to (A) below.
From the north, Henties Bay
Drive into Swakopmund on the C34. After you pass a large
sportsfield on your right, the road bends half-left. Immediately
you will see a large number of red-roofed hospital buildings on
the right. From the hospital, take the fourth turn to the right into
Ben-Gurirab Ave. Then go to (A) below.
From the south, Walvis Bay
Follow the B2 into Swakopmund and turn left at the crossroads
into Sam Nujoma Ave (where the B2 continues to the right).
Take the 2nd turn to the right into Tobias Hainyeko and follow
through the right-left dog leg. Take the next left turn into Theo-Ben Gurirab Ave and go to (A) below.
(A) Drive to the end and turn right into Ludwig Koch St.
Brigadoon Guesthouse is about 100m up on the right hand side.
