Kulula Lodge is situated in the heart of the desert, conveniently close to major attractions such as Naukluft Mountain Park, Sossusvlei and Sesriem. All rooms are equipped with private roof-top sleeping deck, twin beds, en-suite bathrooms, fans and safe, while facilities at the main lodge include reception, curio shop, kitchen, restaurant, bar, lounge, open fireplace, swimming pool and laundry.
The word 'kulala' is a term derived from a local Oshiwambo word meaning to sleep, and these canvas and wood thatched rooms are all raised slightly off the ground allowing for maximised air flow to keep the rooms cool during the hot summer months.

Take the main road B1 going south, and turn right into the road C24 after Rehoboth. In about 36 Kulala Lodge Namibia km turn into the road 1261 going through Reemhoogte Pass. Later you join road C14 and after Solitaire petrol station you turn into C36 road. Last turn is into the road 826 going to Sesriem. The turn-off is signposted (road to Sesriem/Sossusvlei). From Sesriem take a road 826 until the sign "Kulala lodge" (lodge is approx. 10 km further on off the 826 road to the right).
