About Rundu |
The area is very fertile and is a number of fresh fruit are grown here,
including delicious pawpaw which can be found at many a roadside stall in
season. The river is suitable for boating; however swimming is highly dangerous
due to the crocodiles which lurk in this area, as well as the presence of
bilharzia. Boat trips are a great way to explore the area however; make sure
that you bring a camera to capture the sights.

A highly recommended thing to
do when visiting Rundu is a visit to the cultural villages and traditional
