Auob Lodge is located in Namibia, plus/minus 150km from the Mata-Mata gate that gives way to the Kalahari Gemsbok Park, and therefore comprises the ideal stopover en route to the park. The lodge is set amidst 8000 ha of land, which is home to various species of buck, giraffe, small mammals and a plethora of bird species. Despite the aridity of the region, it still miraculously supports a variety of fauna and flora, including the native acacia trees and many other herbs and grasses.
The lodge itself comprises 25 rooms, of which 20 have twin bed configurations, 4 are family rooms and one has a king-sized bed. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, TV, air-conditioning and mosquito nets. Tea/coffee facilities, a laundry service and internet facilities are also available for guests to enjoy.
