Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 - KALAHARI ANIB LODGE, KALAHARI DESERT
The four desert tour kicks off in Windhoek, from which you will continue south over Namibia’s second highest mountain range to the edge of the Kalahari Desert. You will visit the Hardap Dam, which is Namibia’s largest man-made lake, where wide variety of game species can be seen, including Black rhino and white pelican. After this, you will continue on to the lodge, where you will have dinner and stay overnight. (D)

Day 2 - KALAHARI ANIB LODGE, KALAHARI DESERT
Early this morning, you will enjoy a scenic walk within the private reserve of our lodge, before returning for breakfast. In the afternoon you can enjoy a sundowner drive into the Kalahari. A variety of creatures such as antelope, smaller mammals, insects and reptiles can be seen during your tour with an experienced guide. After a sundowner on one of the dunes you will return to the lodge for dinner. (B,D)

Day 3 & 4 - CAÑON LODGE, FISH RIVER CANYON
This morning after breakfast the tour continues further south into the Nama Karoo Desert, where Fish River Canyon (the second largest canyon on earth) can be found. You will stay here for the next two days, enjoying a nature drive in the afternoon on the second day and visits to the Fish River Canyon. (B,D)

Day 5 & 6 - KLEIN AUS VISTA, AUS
Next up, it’s on to the Succulent Karoo Desert. You will explore the vast desert on a nature drive in the late afternoon, and the next day the tour takes you to Lüderitz where you can visit the ghost town of Kolmanskop. Other attractions visited include the Wild Horses of the Namib Desert, Diaz Point and the coastal town of Lüderitz itself. (B,D)

Day 7 & 8 - NAMIB DESERT LODGE, NAMIB DESERT
Today you will travel north into the oldest desert on earth. The lodge where you will spend the next two nights is situated at the foot of unique petrified dunes, which you can explore on a nature drive. You will visit the highest dunes on earth at Sossusvlei, for a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. You will also visit Sesriem Canyon, before travelling back to the lodge each night. (B,D)

Day 9 - WINDHOEK
On the final day of the tour, you can enjoy breakfast before you travel back to Windhoek to get dropped off at your accommodation of choice.
