Day 1 - KALAHARI ANIB LODGE/INTU AFRICA LODGE, KALAHARI DESERT Your tour begins in Windhoek at 08:00 this morning, where you will then travel into the massive Kalahari Desert. This desert is remote and vast, offering amazing views. You will stay overnight at a lodge tonight. (D – Gold)
Day 2 - CAÑON VILLAGE/CANON LODGE, FISH RIVER CANYON This morning after breakfast, you will travel south to visit the fascinating Quiver Tree forest, before continuing to the breathtaking Fish River Canyon, where you will overnight. (B – Bronze) (B, D – Gold)
Day 3 - HOTEL ZUM SPERRGEBIET/NEST HOTEL, LUDERITZ This morning starts with a tour of the Fish River Canyon, before venturing down the Great Escarpment and into the Namib Desert and the Prohibited Diamond Area. You will visit Diaz’ Cross, finishing the day with a tour through Luderitz. You will overnight at a lodge in Luderitz. (B – Bronze) (B, D – Gold)
Day 4 - HAMMERSTEIN LODGE/SOSSUSVLEI LODGE, NAMIB DESERT After breakfast, you will visit ghost town of Kolmanskop, a former mining down that has been left to be claimed by the desert. You then travel north through the desert to your lodge. This is the gateway to Sesriem Canyon and Sossusvlei, where some of the highest sand dunes on earth can be found. (B – Bronze) (B, D – Gold)
Day 5 - HAMMERSTEIN LODGE/SOSSUSVLEI LODGE, NAMIB DESERT This morning you will set off very early to visit Sossusvlei, to hike up one of these dunes to admire the desert landscape. Then you will visit the Sesriem Canyon, returning to the lodge to stay overnight. (B – Bronze) (B, D – Gold)
Day 6 - EUROPA HOF HOTEL/HANSA HOTEL, SWAKOPMUND After breakfast you will be able to explore the Gaub and Kuiseb Canyons and visit the Vogelfederberg before travelling to Swakopmund. Later you will travel to the Swakop River to visit the Welwitschia Plains and Moonlandscape, enjoy a sunset over this stunning area. You will stay overnight at a hotel in Swakopmund. (B – Bronze) (B, D – Gold)
Day 7 - EUROPA HOF HOTEL/HANSA HOTEL, SWAKOPMUND After breakfast today you can choose from a range of leisure pursuits including walking tours, shopping, relaxing or enjoying the beaches. There is also a wide variety of activities on offer, ranging from dolphin cruises, desert tours and scenic flights. You will later return to your hotel in Swakopmund to overnight. (B – Bronze) (B, D – Gold)
Day 8 - TWYFELFONTEIN LODGE/VINGERKLIP LODGE, DAMARALAND This morning after breakfast you will visit Cape Cross, a Cape fur seal colony that is home to thousands of seals. You will then continue the tour via the Brandberg Mountains into Damaraland, one of the most remote areas of Namibia. This is where you will overnight, at a comfortable lodge. (B – Bronze) (B, D – Gold)
Day 9 - ETOSHA SAFARI CAMP/EPACHA GAME LODGE, ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK The morning begins with breakfast, followed by a visit to Twyfelfontein, a World Heritage Site where over 2500 rock engravings can be seen. Other highlights include Burnt Mountain, Organ Pipes and the Petrified Forest. You will then continue to your lodge situated close to the Etosha National Park to overnight. (B – Bronze) (B, D – Gold)
Day 10 - ETOSHA SAFARI CAMP/EPACHA GAME LODGE, ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK After breakfast you will head into the park for a day of game viewing. The park is home to four of the Big Five - elephant, lion, leopard and rhino, as well as rare species such as black-faced Impala, roan, cheetah and the Damara Dik-Dik. You will then return to camp to overnight. (B – Bronze) (B, D – Gold)
Day 11 - GHAUB GUEST FARM/NAMUTONI CAMP, ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK This day is once again devoted to spending the day at the park for a full day game drive. Spend the day looking for wildlife, taking photographs and spotting bird species, before continuing to the next accommodation to overnight. (B – Bronze) (B, D – Gold)
Day 12 - WINDHOEK After breakfast on this last day, you will begin the drive back to Windhoek, stopping to visit craft markets in the main street, before you are driven to your hotel or to the international airport for your return flight.
