he Etosha National Park, one of the largest and game-rich parks within Namibia, is home to a vast number of wildlife species. White rhino and endangered black rhino, lion, cheetah, leopard, elephant, giraffe and large numbers of antelope species can all be found, as well as over 340 species of bird.
Attractions to look out for within the Etosha area include the park itself, as well as the fascinating garden town of Tsumeb which houses a museum containing artefacts from the German occupation in the early 1900’s. Oshikoto Lake and the fascinating Hoba Meteorite are also worth a visit. Activities on offer include game viewing, guided safaris, bird watching, walks and hikes, visits to local attractions or simple relaxation as you savour the sights of Etosha’s stunning natural wonders. |
