Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 - VILLA WIESE GUESTHOUSE, SWAKOPMUND
Today you will leave at 8.30am to Swakopmund. You will visit Walvis Bay where you will visit the lagoon that is home to many species of bird including Greater and Lesser Flamingos, pelicans, avocets, plovers and the endemic Damara Tern. After lunch, you will return to Swakopmund where you can book optional adventure activities including sand boarding, quad biking, scenic flights, parachuting, dolphin cruises and more for this afternoon and tomorrow morning. You will stay overnight in twin or double rooms with en-suite bathroom and a host of other services including laundry. In the evening you will visit a restaurant for dinner at your own cost. (L)

Day 2 - SPITZKOPPE
This morning after breakfast, you can visit the museum, see the aquarium or enjoy optional activities such as sand boarding and quad biking. After a delicious lunch it's off to Spitzkoppe. You will arrive late afternoon to set up camp, followed by a late afternoon climb to the natural rock arch and a chance to explore the rock formations and desert. Dinner will be prepared on your return, and you can then go to sleep in your tent under a million stars. (B,L,D)

Day 3 - PALMWAG
After breakfast today, you will explore the rock art of the Spitzkoppe at Bushmans Paradise. Next is a trip to the World Heritage site to see rock engravings and paintings at Twyfelfontein. Look out for Herero crafts along the way! After lunch you can enjoy a scenice drive through Damaraland before arriving late afternoon at our camp. Enjoy a refreshing sundowner, and then a delicious meal before you overnight. You will have the option to upgrade, depending on availability. (B,L,D)

Day 4 - PALMWAG
Enjoy breakfast and camp, followed by a choice of activties. This includes a Himba Excursion or Rhino Tracking, or a Damaraland Wildlife Excursion. You could also relax at camp or enjoy a guided walk. Dinner is enjoyed on your return, and you can upgrade your accommodation if space is available. (B,L,D)

Day 5 - OKAUKEUJO, ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
After a quick breakfast and a stop in Outjo for supplies, you will experience your first game drive in Etosha National Park. Lunch is enjoyed at Anderson gate with more game driving after lunch, before continuing to your camp site at Okaukuejo. Arriving around midday, you can enjoy a good swim, and then it's time for the afternoon game drive to see Elephants, Giraffes, Lion, Zebra, Sprinbok and other game. Dinner is enjoyed around the fire, and then after some night game viewing at the waterhole you will overnight with the option to upgrade depending on availability. (B,L,D)

Day 6 - NAMUTONI, ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Enjoy an early breakfast, and then leave for a full morning game drive, travelling through the park and stopping at key points en route. Around mid-morning you will get to Halali, to have late lunch or have an afternoon snooze. After this it's time for an afternoon game drive around Halali, plus a visit to the famous Etosha Pan. Dinner is followed by night viewing at the flood lit waterhole. You will overnight here, with an option to upgrade if there is space. (B,L,D)

Day 7 - WATERBERG PLATEAU
After breakfast and an early morning game drive, you will leave Etosha, via Tsumeb to stop for supplies. A visit to Hoba Meteriorite, the largest meteorite in the world is followed by lunch. You will arrive at Waterberg Resort in the afternoon to enjoy spectacular game viewing and scenery. Enjoy a delicious dinner and then you can relax and overnight at this camp. (B,L,D)

Day 8 - WINDHOEK
An early morning guided walking tour can be enjoyed before a delicious brunch. After this you will return to Windhoek via the Okahandja Craft Markets for some gift shopping. You will arrive in time for a sundowner, before you depart for your accommodation in Windhoek to end the tour. (B,L)
