Situated a mere 10 kilometres from the Von Lindequist gate of the world renowned Etosha National Park is the latest addition to the Mushara Collection of superb accommodation establishments; ” Mushara Bush Camp”. The Bush Camp accommodates 32 guests with 8 children in custom made tent like structures. The Mushara Bush Camp offers a practical tented bush camp experience which is well suited as an outstanding affordable base for independent travellers and families exploring the magical Etosha Pan National Park. The main Bush Camp House is thatched and has a real bush camp feel to it. In the early evenings enjoy a camp fire where guests can exchange stories of the day’s wildlife sightings. Dinner, lunch and breakfast are served on the thatched veranda, the bush just a mere step away. The Mushara Bush Camp is your optimal family destination on the doorstep to the magical Etosha National Park.
Each of the 16 custom made en-suite tents is built from a mixture of canvas, wood and local limestone. With their own 8 metre squared private veranda and roof to floor windows, these tents are spacious and airy. The large bathroom has an huge window and shower looking into the surrounding bush and the brushed cement floors and stone walls keep the tents cool from the afternoon sun. Four of these tents were designed for families with small children; they have a sleeper couch sleeping two children each. The tents are very comfortable and spacious. In the main house there is a special area designed for children and has books, games, toys, drawing utensils, creative plays and very friendly child minders to keep the children active.Outside there is a play park with a jungle gym, old tractor and a sand pit. And of course there is also a kiddie’s pool.

Approaching from Windhoek (530 km), drive from the direct of Tsumeb north for approximately 74 km on the B1, turn left towards Namutoni on the C38. After another 15 km you will find the entrance to the Mushara Lodge on your left-hand side. When arriving from the Etosha National Park, please drive another 8 kilometers from the Von Lindequist Gate on the C38 and you will find the entrance to the lodge on your right hand side.
Alternatively, Mushara Lodge has its own landing strip.
