Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1 - PENSION ONGANGA, WINDHOEK
The tour begins in Windhoek, where you will enjoy a day at leisure and have the chance to explore the town before retiring for the night.

DAY 2 - SEIDARAP GUEST FARM, GROOTFONTEIN
You will leave early this morning to travel via Okahandja and Otjiwarongo to the Grootfontein area where you will stay at a guest farm. Highlights include a scenic walk. (B,D)

DAY 3 - POPA FALLS CAMPSITE, KAVANGO REGION
Today you will enter the famous Caprivi region, visiting villages and markets along the way. Highlights include a visit to Popa Falls and Buffalo Park. You will camp at Popa Falls tonight. (B,L,D)

DAY 4 & 5 - NAMBWA CAMPSITE, BWABWATA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, you will past through the Bwabwata National Park to the Kwando River. This is a major birding area, with over 400 species to be seen. Visiting sites such as Horse Shoe Bend and other destinations, you will return to your campsite within the park each day. (B,L,D)

DAY 6 - GARDEN LODGE, CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
Today you will continue to Katima Mulilo. Before you cross the border into Botswana, you'll have the chance to visit a typical African market. Afterwards you will travel to Kasane, to Chobe where you will be staying tonight. (B,L)

DAY 7 & 8 - WHITE SANDS CAMPSITE, CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
These two days are spent enjoying the abundance of game at Chobe National Park, which is home to large herds of elephant and other game. (B,L,D)

DAY 9 - CAMPING, SAVUTI GAME RESERVE
After breakfast you will continue south into the Mababe depression and onto the Savuti Marsh, famous for its large amount of bull elephants. The Savuti waterholes offer a diversity of birds and wildlife such as antelope, giraffe, elephant as well as a large amount of predators.

DAY 10, 11 & 12 - CAMPING, MOREMI GAME RESERVE
Today you will continue to the famous Moremi Game Reserve, another hot spot for elephant. Enjoy game drives along the area to spot game and birdlife each day. (B,L,D)

DAY 13 - MAUN LODGE, MAUN
After packing up camp, you will travel to Maun, reaching town in the aftrnoon. You can spend the rest of the day relaxing and unwinding. (B,L)

DAY 14 - GHANZI TRAIL BLAZERS, KALAHARI DESERT
This morning after breakfast, you will travel through Ngamiland to the town of Ghanzi. Here you can visit a San settlement and learn more about the Bushman way of life before camping overnight. (B,L,D)

DAY 15 - SANDUNE BUSHCAMP, KALAHARI DESERT
Today you will begin the journey back to Namibia, crossing the border in the afternoon. Highlights inclde a game drive later int he afternoon or a Bushman walk. (B,D)

DAY 16 - PENSION ONGANGA, WINDHOEK
This morning you will return to Windhoek, where you can spend the day relaxing and touring the city. There are a number of things to see and do within the city and surrounds. (B)

DAY 17 - WINDHOEK
On the final day of the tour you will be taken to the airport for your flight home, ending your tour. (B)
